Whilst on my way to work today, I listened to Pastor Michael Youssef of Leading The Way give a heart rending message on salvation. He used the example of Lazarus and the poor rich man. It was tense. In a nutshell the message was directed at today’s realities. Whilst the gospel is being pronounced, men are busy with the affairs of life. Whatsapp proclaims, Facebook proclaims, Pastors proclaim, street preachers proclaim, television proclaims, radio proclaims, the word of God proclaims ……..that God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 10: 9-10 Romans 10:9-10 [9]Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10]For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. If you want to accept the gift of the salvation of your soul then say so. This simple prayer can help you: Dear God, I am sorry for my past way of life, my sins and unbelief. I believe that You sent Your son Jesus Christ to die for my sins. I accept that Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour and invite Him into my heart, mind and in all I do from now on and will study and obey your Word’s now and forevermore, Amen. Now search for a Church where you can study the Word and grow as a child of God, ….one day you and I will embrace joyfully in heaven shouting… We made it!!!!
