Faith is essential to a christian. without it we cannot even accept that God exists let alone come to him. Faith will come by hearing and hearing by the word of God. However Faith once built must be protected.
Picture it this way….Faith is like driving a car…you don’t suddenly say hey…I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I can break the rules because I know it all. If the traffic rules are disobeyed… Bang!!! there it goes….the car becomes a scrap heap….the police will call it driver error or somethiing like that. Apostle Paul prefers to call it like this:….1 Timothy 1:19 Holding fast to faith and having a good conscience. By rejecting and thrusting from them their conscience some individuals have made shipwreck of their faith……
